Lockitron: Keyless Entry using your Phone

Yes, as what the title and also their tagline says, Keyless entry using your phone. Lockitron released a cellphone-controlled system, so you can simply lock or unlock your door anywhere just using your smartphone. Though it’s not limited only for smartphone users, it is also compatible to older phones as well through simple text message commands, thus making it friendlier.

It can connect to the internet as well, since it does have a built-in Wifi in it making it more accessible wherever you are and you can control and receive notifications anytime. You can even share access with your family, relative or friends who will be visiting from out of town if ever you are not at home.

Also, it does have some features that they called the “Sense”, which enable Lockitron to sense the user when walking to the door and unlock it using Bluetooth 4.0. Though as of now, it is limited to iPhone 4S or iPhone 5.
