As we can notice with the link above, when we search for LX-300, it’s not there, but rather LX-300+.
But then, there is a tweak on how we can install this printer WITHOUT a driver. Just follow the steps below.
Step 1: Connect the Printer
Step 2: Go to Control Panel then find Device and Printers

Step 3: Choose “The printer that I want isn’t listed” then click next

Step 4: Select “Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings” then proceed

Step 5: It will then ask you to choose a printer port, just then use the default which is LPT1: (Printer Port)

Step 6: In this section you will then choose your manufacturer, and in our case, select Epson located on the left side, then on the right side locate for Epson LX Series 1(80) series then click next

Step 7: Type your desired printer name, but then I prefer that you will name it with its model then just add your computer name (ex. Epson LX 300 – User), to avoid confusion (in my own personal experience though)

Step 8: In this section you will just have to choose whether you would like to share your printer or not, just share it.. Sharing is loving! : )

Then that’s it, you can do a test print and make it your default printer.
